One of the 14-year-olds was overheard talking about "bringing a gun to school to shoot from the bleachers during lunch in the cafeteria," according to a report filed with the Elko police department
A classmate who reported the conversation told police and the junior high principal the conversation took place during a math class Jan. 11.
The student also was told by the threatening teen, "Don't worry - you'll be the first to go down."
Principal Quentin Cannon said school policy is clear that threats made on campus won't be tolerated and that pupil and teacher safety is paramount.
Elko's Juvenile Task Force is investigating the incident.
