Brief: Band sues resort

According to the suit, Heart was to perform at the Maxim July 31 and August 1 for $60,000. But Nigro cancelled Heart's contract June 25, saying it "contained material counter-proposals that were unacceptable," states the suit.
Instead, Heart played the Hard Rock hotel-casino for $15,000. Heart is asking for the $45,000 difference, costs and fees. Nigro declined comment.
