River City also bought Interactive Gaming News, a subscription-based electronic newsletter, from RGT for an undisclosed amount. River City and RGT are based in St. Charles, Mo.

Schneider, a minority owner of Rolling Good Times Online Inc. and a founder of the online RGT news site, is now president and chief executive of River City Group and is no longer affiliated with RGT. Schneider is also chairwoman of the Interactive Gaming Council.

Schneider said she formed River City to help people understand the choppy waters of online gaming.
