UNLV Men's Tennis visits USC

The No. 42-ranked UNLV men's tennis team opens its 1999 dual-match season with a visit to No. 15 Southern California today. UNLV, which is playing its last season as a member of the WAC, has never beaten USC.
The Rebels, who have reached NCAA postseason play for five consecutive seasons, are led by 34th-ranked Asaf Tishler in singles and the nation's top-ranked doubles tandem of Nenad Zivkovic and Gregor Skorin.
UNLV will play at No. 8 Pepperdine Saturday before opening its home schedule Feb. 12 in the UNLV Spring Invitational.
