Letter: Pedestrian bridge a brilliant idea

The county planning staff's argument citing the distance of the proposed bridge from major intersections is shallow. Unlike cities like Los Angeles where blocks are short and bus stops are practically on the corners, in our town most blocks are a half-mile long.
The proposal to build the bridge from the Venetian to the Mirage proves again that the brains are in the private sector. It's a Wynn-win for tourist and locals alike.
