Brief: Four business people named to foundation

The foundation is a group of community leaders who voluntarily work to promote the college and its mission through fund-raising.

New members include Joseph Brown, senior partner of Jones Vargas, who also serves on the boards of Security Bank, the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, Nevada Development Authority and Nevada Foreign Trade Zone Authority; James Kane, senior vice president of operations for Southwest Gas Corp., who has an extensive background of community involvement in Arizona chambers of commerce; John Kilduff, executive vice president of the Howard Hughes Corp. and vice president of the Rouse Company, who also serves on the boards of Nevada Development Authority and Urban Land Institute and chairs the Marketing Committee of NDA; and Dennis Smith, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Mednet, president of Medi-Phar and co-founder of Medi-Mail, Inc. Smith is also a member of the President Associates at UNLV.
