Elko teacher resigns amid sexual harassment allegations

Myron Pree, a 14-year music teacher and band director at Spring Creek High School, submitted his resignation on Friday.

Superintendent Marcia Bandera said the investigation by school district officials and local law enforcement was initiated after the parents of a 17-year-old student filed a complaint against Pree.

Bandera said the investigation found no evidence of physical contact between the student and teacher, but added that Pree admitted to the allegations.
