Soccer league sign-ups

The Silver State Soccer League is taking spring registration for girls between the ages of 5 and 19 beginning Feb. 13. The cost is $30 per player. Each player needs to bring two wallet-size pictures and a copy of her birth certificate. Dates, places: Feb. 13, 1:30-3:30 p.m. at Rainbow Library; Feb. 16, 6-9 p.m. at Auto Nation, 1000 W. Warm Springs Road; Feb. 20, 9:30-11:30 a.m. at West Sahara Library and Feb. 22, 6-9 p.m. at Zelzah Shrine Temple, 222 Mesquite.

SOCCER TOURNAMENT

A series of two-day soccer tournaments for children aged 6-14 is scheduled for Feb. 19-21 and Feb. 26-28 at Fountain Park, Vegas Drive and Decatur Boulevard. Each of the tournaments will include family activities with games, movies and barbque. Registration begins Friday and the fee is $150 per team. Call Sherry Alexander at 229-5106 for information.
