Brief: LV company buys Texas HMO

Besides buying the 6,900-member Texas HMO, Sierra is buying a portion of Omaha's preferred provider organization in the same market.
Terms weren't disclosed.
Sierra operates Health Plan of Nevada.
Last year it bought Mutual of Omaha's HMO business in Nevada and Kaiser Permanente's Southwest Division in Dallas-Fort Worth.
