Letter: Commandments good set of rules

Our country was founded by great leaders who believed this. Our Constitution was written by men who believed this. Schools were built and supported by people who believed this. In my mind, situational ethics are a joke. I, for one, am ready to return to rules that apply equally to all. Recognizing and teaching the Ten Commandments could be the start of something good.

Another thought: America was founded on Judeo-Christian principles. Because of these principles, we have allowed many people of other religious beliefs and other cultures to become citizens. They are allowed to make their ideas known without fear of imprisonment, etc. Surely, it is not unfair to ask them to abide by the rules that this wonderful country was founded on!
