Mississippi resort expanded

GULFPORT, Miss. -- Park Place Entertainment Corp. of Las Vegas said it more than doubled room capacity at its Grand Casino resort in Gulfport with the opening of its Oasis Resort & Spa.

The new 600-room facility includes a 3-acre waterpark and a spa and salon. The Grand Casino Gulfport now offers 1,000 hotel rooms and suites and other amenities.
