Seeking facts on Henderson zoning codes? Try city's website

Henderson's zoning code is now available on the Internet in an effort to make the city's development standards more accessible to the public, a city spokeswoman said.

The Visual Interactive Code went online this week with 1,117 pages of Henderson's newly revised development code, which uses photos and drawings to illustrate zoning requirements, the city's Director of Community Development Mary Kay Peck said.

The program also provides definitions of zoning and development terms.

In the past, developers had to pay for hard copies of the City's Development Code book, but it's available at no cost to anyone with Internet access.

Internet users may find the new information under the "Doing Business" window on the city of Henderson web page (www.cityofhenderson.com).
