Grandmother recalls her time at camp

An 80-year-old grandmother has fond memories of her childhood camp experiences and wanted other children who could not afford it to be able to go.
"I remember when I was 9 years old and lived in the Lower East Side," she writes. She attended a camp on East Broadway in New York, where "they gave me two beautiful summer weeks."
The memories are still so powerful, she wants others to be able to build such memories.
"I really haven't too much," she writes, "but I am enclosing $10."
