Letter: President did the wrong thing

Lee, whose rancidly obscene, violent, and incendiary movie "Do the Right Thing" can be credited with a significant measure of the "inspiration" for violence, looting, and mayhem of the 1992 Los Angeles riots, was showered with praise for that vile and misbegotten creation.

Spike is also venerated by the establishment media elite and the self-anointed arbiters of political correctness for "Malcolm X," his paean to the fascist rantings and revolutionary rage of the Black Muslim leader.

The Navy, like the other branches of our armed services, is seriously undermanned and losing men at a furious pace. The reasons for the hemorrhaging? Bill Clinton's demoralizing, feminizing, sodomizing, downsizing, globalizing and over-extending of our military.

None of this can be cured, or even alleviated, by some slick Hollywood-MTV ads by the Spikemeister.
