OAKLAND, Calif. -- WinAir Airlines, a commuter line based in Salt Lake City, has suspended service to Oakland International Airport, citing rising costs.
The airline had originally selected Oakland, along with Sacramento, Las Vegas and Salt Lake City, as four destinations from its hub in Long Beach. Service will continue to the other three cities.
WinAir said the Oakland flights were canceled due to poor ticket sales.
