Camp can be blessing for abused children

Spending a week at summer camp would be a nice break for Michelle. She has spent most of her childhood reacting to parental neglect and abuse and now lives in a foster home.
Social activities and mingling with other children are what she needs most now, writes a counselor, adding that it would help improve her relationships and self esteem.
By sending donations to the Sun Camp Fund, children like Michelle can have a chance to go hiking, sing songs and make new friends while leaving behind daily struggles.
Recent donors to the fund:
Frank Burke; The Yatcko's; Betsy Abrahamson; LoPresti Family; Joseph Birken; Teresa Hitt; Robert Anderson; David Friedland; Pat Etheridge; Adele Baratz; Russell Church.
