Children need help to go to summer camp

Jameshia is helpful and hard working.

David is studious.

Frank is energetic and will add to any camp experience.

Jameshia could use the camp experience to help raise her self-esteem, her mother says. David, whose father is in prison, could use a good role model. Frank could benefit from life outside the inner city.

All three could use a week at summer camp and their mothers would like to see them have that opportunity. However, Frank and Jameshia come from single-parent families and David's mother is out of work because of medical problems.

By sending donations the Las Vegas Sun summer camp fund, children like Jameshia, Frank and David may have an opportunity to attend summer camp.
