Letter: Carp sheds some light

Great journalism by Steve Carp regarding the relationship between the UNLV athletic department and the Thomas & Mack Center ("It's time for sports, Mack to play nicely," July 10).

How long can the tail wag the dog? I think (athletic director) Charlie Cavagnaro and (T&M director) Pat Christenson have both lost sight of the university goals. They both need some adult supervision. Presidential control never will occur; maybe it's time for the regents to get involved.

Keep up the good reporting.
