Letter: Citizens have key role -- at polls
Sunday, July 25, 1999 | 11:39 a.m.
The blame lies with the people of this country, no one else.
As Americans, we have the right to tell our elected leaders how we want them to represent us in office, and we also have the right to vote them out of office if they do not take care of "we the people."
The problem is 100 percent of the people take the time to complain, but only 25 percent of the people take the time to find out the issues and vote.
If you do not like the way our money is spent, and most of us don't, then get out and vote for leaders that will take care of the people of this great country!
