Letter: Lots of interests have bought Bush

The only thing the average voter can now hope for is that enough "voters" will resent the power of money and realize that his/her interests are not served by money in politics. The Republicans will not even let campaign reform come up anytime soon on the floor of either the House or the Senate for discussions, much less a vote. Let us face facts: Money corrupts.

One simple question: Why has Bush been able to raise so much money in such a short period of time? The answer is simple. He had a commodity to sell and there were buyers out there willing to buy him now. When he files his disclosure, you will see the big money boys (lobbies) on the list: tobacco, guns, AMA, banking, insurance, etc.

I do not understand the Republicans' fear of the unions when they line all the big money interests on their side.
