Gene Bylund

Gene Bylund, 65, of Boulder City died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 7, 1933, in Detroit. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired maintenance worker for the Department of Parks and Recreation and a Korean War Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Lois E.; two daughters, Alice Marcano of Boulder City and Tammy Bylund of Pomona, Calif.; three sons, Mark Bylund of Beaver Dam, Ariz., and Mathew Bylund and Luke Bylund, both of Boulder City; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Becki Culpepper

Becki Culpepper, 41, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born May 11, 1958, in Aurora, Colo. A resident for 21 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Tiffani Culpepper and Bianca Culpepper, her father, Harland Strobl, and one brother, Steve Strobl, all of Las Vegas.

Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

George Daniel

George Daniel, 76, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born March 11, 1923, in Minneiska, Minn. A resident for 27 years, he was a retired telephone company repairman, a World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War Air Force veteran and a member of the Air Force Sergeants Association.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; one son, Dr. Thomas Edward Daniel of Aurora, Colo.; three sisters, Lillian Siebenaler and Violet Kram, both of Winona, Minn., and Margie Ney of Chula Vista, Calif.; two brothers, Bruce Daniel of Oregon and Valentine Daniel of Winona; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Sean Ryan Davis

Sean Ryan Davis, 5, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A resident for two years, he was born Dec. 8, 1993, in San Diego.

He is survived by his parents, Michael and Jennifer Davis Jr., and one brother, Michael Davis Jr., all of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Michael and Linda Davis of Las Vegas, Thomas Wall and Kathy Sarago, both of New York City.

A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Sunday in Vista Hospice Care, 3371 N. Buffalo Drive. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Theodore 'Jeff' Gadbois

Theodore 'Jeff' Gadbois, 84, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 12, 1915, in Beverly, Mass. A resident for 32 years, he was a retired Air Force master sergeant and World War II, Korean War and and Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Fannie; three daughters, Sandra Childers of Fort Worth, Texas, Karen Warner of Rockville, Md., and Diane McCain of Sandy Valley; two sisters, Lillian Gadbois and Eva Fortier, both of Beverly; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 3:30 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Ruth A. Gallmeier

Ruth A. Gallmeier, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 21, 1915, in New Castle, Ind. A resident for nine years, she was a retired telephone company officer manager and a member of Las Prados Lions.

She is survived by two sisters, Louise Marie Hood of Banning, Calif., and Patricia J. Penman of Puyallup, Wash.; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 6220 N. Jones Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Rose N. Grock

Rose N. Grock, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born April 23, 1916, in Owego, N.Y. A resident for seven years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two brothers, Henry Casel and Joseph Casel, both of Las Vegas; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is scheduled noon-5 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Main.

Olivia P. Johnson

Olivia P. Johnson, 76, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 30, 1923, in Westlake, La. A resident for 43 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the San Francisco Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband, E.K.; three sisters, Maggie Pipkin of Buzzard Bay, Mass., Peggy Southern of Thornton, Calif., and Claudia Pipkin of Westlake; and two brothers, Clavin Parson of Lancaster, Calif., and Thomas Parson of Sulphur, La.

Visitation is scheduled 3-8 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Paula G. Lemke

Paula G. Lemke, 60, of Buffalo, Wyo., died Sunday in a Wyoming Medical Center. She was born Aug. 16, 1938, in Glendale, Calif. A former Las Vegas resident for 61 years, she was a retired fire dispatcher from the Las Vegas Fire Department, an active stamp collector and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Lodge 22 in Boulder City.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Lois E. Kiltz Lewis

Lois E. Kiltz Lewis, 68, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 27, 1930, in Wichita, Kan. A resident for one year, she was a retired executive secretary for an aerospace company.

She is survived by her husband, Herman E.; one daughter, Barbara June Bosch of Olympia, Wash.; one son, Ben Butzien of Portland, Ore.; two brothers, Robert A. Kiltz of Vancouver, Wash., and Harvel E. Kiltz of Torrance, Calif.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.

Miriam Lipschitz

Miriam Lipschitz, 94, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born March 10, 1905, in Newark, N.J. A resident for four months, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Charles Lipton; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Wilma Neighbors

Wilma Neighbors, 91, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 10, 1908, in Kansas City, Kan. A resident for 39 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Edward Neighbors of Spokane, Wash.; two daughters, Joan Albert of Pioneer Town, Calif., and Marilyn Penhall of Yucca Valley, Calif.; 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be private. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Thomas Royal Ream

Thomas Royal Ream, 49, of Henderson, died recently in Henderson. He was born May 21, 1950, in Provo, Utah. A resident for 42 years, he was a painter and a former Eagle Scout during his high school years.

He is survived by his parents, Royal and Joan Ream of Henderson; two sisters, Jody McHugh of Las Vegas and Mindy Richardson of Prescott, Ariz.; and one brother, Andy Ream of Las Vegas.

Ralph Alexander Robinson

Ralph Alexander Robinson, 63, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 18, 1935, in Indiana. A resident for 21 years, he was an employee of the Bureau of Land Management.

He is survived by one son, Kevin Robinson; one daughter, Sabrina McClure; and one grandchild.

Norman Rosenfeld

Norman Rosenfeld, 73, of Henderson died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 15, 1926, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for many years, he was a salesman in the bedding industry.

He is survived by his wife, Bernice.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Glendale, N.Y. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Harland C. Strobl

Harland C. Strobl, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born April 27, 1927, in Appleton, Wis. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired federal government supply support for the Air Force and a Korean War veteran.

He is survived by one son, Steve Strobl of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

William Todd

William Todd, 75, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 26, 1924, in New Jersey. A resident for 16 years, he retired after 23 years as a U.S. Postal Service clerk, an Army/Air Force veteran and a former member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2179 in New Jersey.

He is survived by his wife, Regina; two daughters, Diane Annett of Las Vegas and Barbara Johnson of Scurry, Texas; one brother, John E. Todd of Point Pleasant, N.J.; and four grandchildren.

Dominic D. Tonelli, 80, of Henderson died July 17 in North Las Vegas. A resident for many years, he was born April 19, 1919, in New York.

Louella M. Votry

Louella M. Votry, 79, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Oct. 19, 1919, in Michigan. A resident for 35 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Francis J.; one son, Frank J. Votry Jr., and three daughters, Marie Smith, Louella Williams and Cathy Mercadante, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Monell Dukes of Grand Rapids, Mich.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Bridget's Catholic Church, 220 N. 14 St. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
