Doroteo S. 'Aggie' Aguilera

Doroteo S. "Aggie" Aguilera, 70, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 10, 1929, in San Antonio. A resident for 41 years, he was a retired furniture mover.

He is survived by his wife, Linda V.; two daughters, Pauline V. Aguilera and Lisa V. Aguilera, and three sons, Johnny V. Aguilera, Tony V. Aguilera and Mike V. Aguilera, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Joe Aguilera of San Antonio; and 12 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

William J. Barnes

William J. Barnes, 92, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born June 7, 1906, in Modale, Iowa. A resident for 47 years, he owned Barnes Mortgage and Investments from 1955 to 1993.

He is survived by his wife, Sharel; one daughter, Beverly Leavitt of Jerome, Idaho; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Eden Vale Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Isadore 'Tim' Binder

Isadore "Tim" Binder, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born June 29, 1918, in New York. A resident for many years, he was a retail manager and an Army veteran.

He is survived by one son, Gordon Binder of Washington state; and one daughter, Mary Thomas of Texas.

No local services are scheduled. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Arcola A. McLeod Butler

Arcola A. McLeod Butler, 69, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 12, 1929, in Newellton, La. A resident for 44 years, she was a hotel housekeeper.

She is survived by four daughters, Yvonne Porter, Loretha Butler, Arlene Butler and Marion Butler, and two sons, Kenneth Butler and Jerald Butler Sr., all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Edna Scott of Las Vegas, Laura Harrison of San Francisco and Annie B. Bradford of Los Angeles; 18 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the Greater New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1100 N. D St. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Theresa Ann D'Amato

Theresa Ann D'Amato, 28, of North Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 1, 1970, in Yonkers, N.Y. A resident for 19 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Steven P. D'Amato and Jessica R. Martino, her parents, Frank J. and Roseanne Haydu, two brothers, Frank J. Haydu Jr. and Lee R. Haydu, and one sister, Selena M. Haydu, all of North Las Vegas; and her grandother, Frances S. Vigliotti of New York.

American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling private arrangements.

Michael P. Denius

Michael P. Denius, 28, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 15, 1971, in Los Angeles. A resident for 15 years, he was an automobile mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly; two sons, Oliver and William; one daughter, Rebecca, his mother and stepfather, Amber and David, and one brother, George, all of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Elizabeth of Las Vegas and Lourell of Columbia Falls, Mont.

Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Thursday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Valerie 'Viola' Garman

Valerie "Viola" Garman, 104, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 15, 1894, in Poland. A resident for 32 years, she was a retired restaurateur.

She is survived by two daughters, Cleo L. Anderson of Henderson and Rita M. Shepard of Rancho Cordova, Calif.; three grandchildren, 11 grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be noon-2:30 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

Eddie Vang Her

Eddie Vang Her, 34, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 18, 1965, in Laos. A resident for 15 years, he was a hotel housekeeper.

He is survived by his wife, Ge; one daughter, Mai Kou Her, and one son, Richard Her, both of Las Vegas; and one brother, Chuefue Her of Portland, Ore.

Visitation will be noon until 6 p.m. services Thursday and Friday and one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Rheba E. Huston

Rheba E. Huston, 86, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born Aug. 23, 1912, in Lima, Ohio. A resident for two years, she was a bookkeeper.

She is survived by one daughter, Janis Sproat of Las Vegas.

Visitation and services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Burial will be in California.

Betty Jane Kreinbring

Betty Jane Kreinbring, 74, of Caliente died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Dec. 28, 1924, in Minneapolis. A resident for 37 years, she was a retired Kmart saleswoman, president of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Chamber of Commerce.

She is survived by three daughters, Sharon Rossiter of White City, Kan., Vicky Brown of North Las Vegas and Nancy Davidson of Las Vegas; two sons, Mark Kreinbring and Steven Kreinbring; two brothers, Russell Green and Jack Green, both of Minneapolis; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Larry Lee Lawrence

Larry Lee Lawrence, 63, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 18, 1936, in Detroit. A resident for three years, he was a retired salesman in the medical industry.

He is survived by his wife, Diane A.; two sons, David Lawrence of Winnemucca and Mark Lawrence of Reno; one daughter, Lucy L. Lawrence of Albuquerque, N.M.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Glen Warren McDonald, 53, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 25, 1945, in Holtville, Calif. A resident for eight years, he was a retired cable company installer and a veteran of the National Guard Reserves.

He is survived by his wife, Jan Lee; three sons, Scott Keeton and Robert Keeton, both of Queen Creek, Ariz., and Larry Ronald McDonald II of Las Vegas; one brother, L. Ronald McDonald I of Calera, Okla.; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne.

Lawrence McDowell, 80, of Las Vegas died Friday in Texas City, Texas. A welder for automobiles and boats, he was born July 16, 1918, in Ringold, La.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lee; two sons, Joe McDowell of Las Vegas and Ray McDowell of Kansas City, Kan.; three daughters, Geanetter McDowell, Velma Hilton and Tina Walker, all of Las Vegas; three brothers, William J. McDowell, Artist McDowell and Monroe J. McDowell, all of Sacramento; six sisters, Leona Donnell of Kansas City, Kan., Mary Green, Elizabeth McDowell and Reassie McDowell, all of Chicago, Regina McDowell of Las Vegas and Berniece Garrison of Palm Springs, Calif.; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in New Light Baptist Church, 1165 Lawry Ave. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Warren Glen Robinson

Warren Glen Robinson, 74, of Pahrump died Monday in a local hospital. He was born June 20, 1924, in Glenwood, Fla. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired mason for a construction company and a World War II Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Ramona; three sons, Kenneth Robinson of California, Roy Robinson of Ohio and Mike Laymen Robinson of Pahrump; three daughters, Jolean of Canada, Von Fedricks of California and Marie Cunnius of Arizona; and 16 grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Stephen L. Stubblefield

Stephen L. Stubblefield, 32, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 1, 1966, in West Covina, Calif. A resident for several years, he was a skilled laborer in electronics and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly; one son, Dylan Zanghi of New York; one daughter, Corrissia Stubblefield, and his parents, Stephen S. and Linda Stubblefield, all of Fallon; one brother, Jason Stubblefield of Travis Air Force Base, Calif.; and one sister, Holly Squires of Lemoore, Calif.

Graveside services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Eden Vale Memorial Park. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.

Carl J. Swearengin

Carl J. Swearengin, 68, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born July 26, 1930, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for five years, he was a retired Army military policeman and Korean War veteran, a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Shriners.

He is survived by his wife, Kum Sun; one son, Wayne Swearengin of Redondo Beach, Calif.; two daughters, Kathrine Allred and Carolyn Swearengin, both of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Visitation will be one hour prior to 9 a.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Edwin Anton Vigoren

Edwin Anton Vigoren, 88, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. He was born Aug. 22, 1910, in Hettinger, N.D. A resident for 22 years, he retired as a dealer after 30 years and was a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by one nephew, Gary Vigoren of St. George, Utah.

Donald Perry White

Donald Perry White, 74, of Las Vegas died March 31 in a local health care center. He was born Aug. 15, 1926, in Oklahoma. A resident for many years, he was a truck driver and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Nell Waldrop of Washington state; and two brothers, Frank White of Arizona and Harry White of Oklahoma.

Billyrea Woods, 77, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 17, 1921, in Oklahoma. A resident for two years, she was a hospital secretary.
