Workshops on nutrition set

Youth Health Specialists, a program to help families with overweight children, is offering free workshops beginning at 6 p.m. May 17 at the Von's Trails Shopping Center, 1940 Village Center Drive.

The "Grocery Shopping Smarts" workshop will be conducted by a registered dietitian and will include instructions for reading food labels, ways to save money on grocery buying and discussions on foods not to buy.
