Evelyn M. Anderson, 75, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 29, 1923, in Pacoima, Calif. A resident for 35 years, she was a waitress at Caesars Palace 1967-1984.

She is survived by her husband, Anders P.; two daughters, Ida Vernay of California and Linda Tamboer of Abilene, Texas; one sister, Goldie Abs of North Hollywood, Calif.; eight grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4 p.m. until a 7 p.m. service today with a 6:45 p.m. prayer service at Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Wilma June Beadle

Wilma June Beadle, 75, of Carey, Idaho, died Friday in Kimberly, Idaho. She was born June 6, 1923, in Des Moines, Iowa. A former Henderson resident, she was a member of the Henderson Order of the Eastern Star Sunrise Chapter 28, enjoyed crocheting, needlework, fishing and hunting rock chucks with her husband.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Lloyd W.; one son, Lloyd Beadle Jr. of Henderson; one daughter, Donna Beadle of Kimberly; one sister, Doris Harding of Salt Lake City; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Cremation was under the direction of Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home in Twin Falls, Idaho.

C E 'Bill' Burch

C E 'Bill' Burch, 87, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 24, 1911, in Oklahoma. A resident for 17 years, he was a retired heavy equipment salesman and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Cheryl Harris, and two sons, Bill Burch and Craig Harris, all of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Vonnysha T. Floyd

Vonnysha T. Floyd, 14, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born May 3, 1984, in Las Vegas. She was a student at Mojave High School.

She is survived by her mother, Lolita Valdez, her father, Jackie Floyd, two sisters, Jaclyn and Alaina, and one brother, Maurice, all of Las Vegas; and her grandparents, Ruth Floyd and Johnny and Clarice McCoy.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Greater St. Paul Church of God in Christ, 911 N. G St. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Lillie Mae Freeman

Lillie Mae Freeman, 79, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 13, 1919, in Waxahatchi, Texas. A resident for 36 years, she was a retired bus driver for the Clark County School District.

She is survived by two daughters, Kecia Freeman and Claudean Wade, both of Las Vegas; three stepdaughters, Brenda Kima of Las Vegas, Michelle Azzam of Athens, Greece, and Harolyn Montogemery of Los Angeles; two sons, Robert Hawkins of North Las Vegas and Curtis Hawkins of Los Gatos, Calif.; one sister, Margaret Springs of Dallas; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Palm. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Joe L. Gomez

Joe L. Gomez, 59, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 6, 1940, in Santa Fe, N.M. A resident for 41 years, he was a retired communications specialist.

He is survived by one son, Jerry; two sisters, Annabelle Munoz of Las Vegas and Viola Gomez of Santa Fe; four brothers, Leo Gomez of San Marcos, Calif., Robert Gomez of Pittsburg, Calif., and Dennis Gomez and Tom Gomez, both of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Rosary will be 7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

George Toru Horito

George Toru Horito, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 5, 1919, in Compton, Calif. A resident for 22 years, he was an automotive salesman and repairman.

He is survived by his wife, Alyce; six sons, Gene Horito of Oxnard, Calif., Jerry Horito, Gilbert Horito, Robert Horito and Thomas Horito, all of Las Vegas, and Michael Horito of Provo, Utah; one brother, Joe Horito, and one sister, Kay Nawa, both of Los Angeles; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the Cheyenne and Buffalo LDS Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.

Peggy Hornecker

Peggy Hornecker, 52, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 26, 1946, in Akron, Ohio. A resident for 26 years, she was a retired bank branch manager and a member of Sweet Adelines.

She is survived by her husband, David L.; two sons, Lance Michael Hornecker of Atlanta and Eric Daniel Hornecker of San Diego; three sisters, Nancy Shaw of Durham, N.C., Patty Nolin of San Diego and Sandi Matcko of Fremont, Calif.; and one brother, Mark Johnson of San Jose, Calif.

A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Christopher J. Myers, 35, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 7, 1963, in San Bernardino, Calif. A resident for 20 years, he was a setter for a tile company.

He is survived by his parents, Ron and Ann Myers of Henderson; one brother, Stephen Myers of Las Vegas; and his two grandmothers, Dorothy Moore of Las Vegas and Helena Donovan of Fontana, Calif.

Mary Ruth Moyers

Mary Ruth Moyers, 91, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born May 20, 1907, in Kentucky. A resident for nine years, she was a hotel executive housekeeper.

She is survived by one son, James Moyer of Alpine, Calif.; one daughter, Grace White of Albuquerque, N.M.; and three brothers, Willard Davis, Clifford Davis and Edwin Davis, all of Kentucky.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Albuquerque. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Gwindle Parks

Gwindle Parks, 56, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born July 29, 1942, in Belleville, Ark. A resident for seven years, he was a hotel security officer and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Marcille; one daughter, Kelly Mileham of Phoenix; one son, Steven Parks of California; eight sisters, Dottie Smith, Joyce Moore, Shirley Gibson, Velma Crabtree, Edna Wetzel, Marlene Collidge, Marla Walter and Mary Jo Brown; seven brothers, Bill, Sherman, Sam, Lowell, Lynn, Loren and Lance; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Kenneth L. Patten

Kenneth L. Patten, 59, of Las Vegas died April 2 in Las Vegas. A resident for many years, he was born May 22, 1939, in the United Kingdom.

Robert C. Ramsay

Robert C. Ramsay, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 31, 1926, in Joplin, Mo. A resident for 27 years, he was a self-employed retail merchant at Ramsay's Inc., a member of the Shriners, Masons and Elks.

He is survived by five daughters, Kathleen Foulke of Hilton Head, S.C., Robin Zimmardi of Henderson, Jennifer Perrone of Palm Springs, Calif., and Mistee Ramsay and Heather Ramsay, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Jimmy Ramsay of Pittsburgh, Kan., and Harry Whittaker of Miami, Okla.; and seven grandchildren.

Wilmer Lou Rollins

Wilmer Lou Rollins, 77, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 17, 1922, in Altus, Okla. A resident for eight years, he was a retired beverage salesman.

He is survived by his wife, Rose; one daughter, Debbie Lee of Hamer, S.C.; one stepson, Billie Ray Rollins of Victorville, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service was scheduled at 2 p.m. today in the Nathan Adelson Hospice chapel, 4141 S. Swenson St. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., handled arrangements.

Kenneth B. Scott Sr.

Kenneth B. Scott Sr., 77, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born March 15, 1922, in Sioux City, Iowa. A resident for 47 years, he was a retired Clark County accountant and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Lillie; two sons, Kenneth B. Scott Jr. and John Mark Scott, both of Las Vegas; five sisters, Ruth Miller and Loretta Henry, both of Minnesota, Lovice Munson and Carol Scott, both of Sioux City, and Beverly Volkert of Nebraska; three brothers, Albert Scott of Roswell, N.M., Charles Scott of Canada and Paul Scott of Des Moines, Iowa; and five grandchildren.

James F. Testa

James F. Testa, 74, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born June 19, 1924, in Southington, Conn. A resident for 31 years, he was a World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War Air Force and Marine Corps veteran, a member and past grand knight of the Knights of Columbus, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion and was a former Boy Scout leader.

He is survived by two sons, James P. Testa and Joseph L. Testa, and two daughters, Claudia L. Testa and Carol T. Adamson, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Domonick Testa of New Haven, Conn.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday with a 6 p.m. service in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Additional services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Thomas Hayes Tresilian

Thomas Hayes Tresilian, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 21, 1920, in Massachusetts. A resident for 35 years, he was a veteran of the Merchant Marines.

He is survived by his wife, Frances; one son, Thomas Hayes Tresilian, and one daughter, Sandra Nordstrom, both of Massachusetts; three sisters, Patricia Groth of Newport Beach, Calif., Audrey Wright of Las Vegas and Janice Cortez of Grass Valley, Calif.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Edgar Washington Jr.

Edgar Washington Jr., 77, of Las Vegas died April 29 in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 10, 1921, in Bude, Miss. A resident for 41 years, he was a laborer in the construction industry and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Joe Lee Washington; three daughters, Doris Washington and Frankie Washington, both of Las Vegas, and Fay Washington of Buffalo, N.Y.; one son, Steve Washington of Las Vegas; three brothers, Lemuel Washington and Robert Washington, both of Las Vegas, and Louis Washington of Winnsboro, La.; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Flora Mae Whitehead, 49, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 10, 1949, in Bolton, Miss. A resident for 35 years, she was a hotel housekeeper.

She is survived by one son, Deon Lyons, and her mother, Fortia B. Lyons, both of Las Vegas; six brothers, Cread Lyons Jr., Freddie Lyons, Alvin Lyons, Eddie Paul Lyons and Willie Earl Lyons, all of Las Vegas, and Edmond Lyons of Louisiana; five sisters, Maggie Lyons, Tracy Lyons, Sandy Lyons, Hope Lyons and Terry Lyons, all of Bolton, Miss.; her grandmother, Jannie Williams of Jackson, Miss.; and one grandchild.

Clark R. Whitehorn, 44, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born May 10, 1954, in the Philippines. A resident for many years, he was a security guard in the construction industry.

He is survived by his wife, Teresita.

William Wintner

William Wintner, 65, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born April 9, 1934, in New York City. A resident for eight years, he was a retired hotel general manager and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Laura; three daughters, Donna Davidge of Las Vegas, Kim McKay of Oceanside, Calif., and Wendy McDevitt of Vista, Calif.; one son, William Wintner of San Diego; his parents, Evelyn and Jack Wintner, and one brother, Jack Wintner, all of Upland, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.
