Career expos planned for schoolchildren

Futures Expo '99, for students in grades 6 through 12 interested in finding about career opportunities, will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Cashman Center.
Admission and parking are free.
More than 70 local businesses will be available to discuss skills and classes students need to prepare for various careers.
The expo is sponsored by the Clark County School District, in partnership with Cox Communications, KLAS Channel 8, Las Vegas Sun, KVVU Channel 5 and Nevada Power Co.
