Consultant joins board of gaming firm

Casino Data Systems of Las Vegas said one of its independent consultants, John (Jack) Harvey, was elected to its board of directors.
Harvey came to Las Vegas in 1978 to work for the estate of Howard Hughes and was chief financial officer and was on the board of Summa Corp. (now the Howard Hughes Corporation) for eight years.
Harvey was a professor of finance at UNLV for six years and also served on the board of directors of Del Webb Corp.
