Letter: Who says violence is complex issue?

We'll all remember of course that in the 1800s -- prior to TV and movies -- murder was nonexistent. And back in the 1300's -- before Gutenberg and that whole printing press thing -- there were not even words for "sex" or "violence" in any language or culture.
God bless Harvey and her insight into the (apparently not at all complex) workings of cause and effect.
