Suit filed over street lights

A homeowners association filed suit in District Court against two developers for failing to deliver the decorative street lights they sought for their neighborhood.

Pulte Homes Corp. and Kaufman & Broad of Nevada Inc. were named in the suit by the Peccole Ranch Homeowners Association.

The suit said the two companies submitted design standards for street lights to a design review committee, then failed to follow their own drawings when they delivered their finished product. The suit said the street lights were taller than the 10 feet height that was agreed upon and the companies did not deliver lamps that were verde green or had a hand-rubbed bronze finish.

A spokesman for Pulte Homes said the company had no comment on the suit.

Representatives of Kaufman & Broad could not be reached for comment.

In February, the same homeowners' association sued the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District's Sahara West Library and Fine Arts Museum over landscaping.
