Lazar - Got the lead and finished close 2nd then disqualified to 5th in last, broke maiden at 7-panels four races back, takes another class drop since, could get pocket trip here, jockey a question. Value Play -- Ask Crafty

2ND RACE:

Special Eyes - No rally when splitting the field at twice this price in last, 2-for-3 at Hollypark and 2-for-5 at this distance, reunites with winning rider Pincay here, money run for Mrs. Lukas. Meditative - No bid 5th when overmatched on the lawn in last, broke maiden from outside post routing before that, draws good rail post, realistically placed, winning rider Nakatani back. Value Play -- Wishful Sky

3RD RACE:

Empty Purse - 3rd first time at this level, trip and track in last, 3rd in Anita dash before that, changed barns to new trainer Moreno since last start, nice drill since raced, Pincay takes over on beaten favorite. Sustained Success - Set pace and just caught on the wire when debut 2nd by a head in last, another with good work since raced, re turns at same level here, Gonzalez re-rides beaten Dominguez-trained favorite. Value Play -- Lyns Kissing Star

4TH RACE:

Roundabout - Finished well and just missed by a nose when 2nd over this course in last, placed 2nd through disqualification before that, broke maiden by a nose on Anita lawn three races back, Pincay returns on Greenman trainee. Radar Contact - Dueled lead and gamely won last, 3-wide bid and gamely broke maiden before that, swift work since raced, Gomez stays, sharp right now. Value Play -- Sea Czar

5TH RACE:

Good Geezer - Loomed up with 4-wide trip and outfinished to 4th in best career effort in last, reunites with Delahoussaye now, makes third start back since layoff, Geezer graduation. Fun Party - 1st time starter by General Meeting, swift works with bullet 6-panel drill on 4/20 followed by pair of gate moves, part of dangerous Golden Eagle Farm entry, Baffert/Flores team. Value Play -- Bardic

6TH RACE:

Apollogetic - Split field in starter allowance outing in last, overmatched in prior pair of starts, runner up at this level at Golden Gate four races back following maiden breaker, drops into good spot for action here. Billy Brad - Overmatched in higher claimer in last, won at 7-panels at this level off layoff before that, nice recent mile work since raced, reunites with winning rider Flores for this. Value Play -- Al n' Mel

7TH RACE:

Floriselli - Split field when 4th in restricted stakes on Anita lawn in last, runner-up in 2 of prior 3 outings, in the quinella 9-of-19 career turf starts with 4 victories, Solis stays. Plicck - Stalked and outkicked in Grade II Anita turf marathon stakes late-March in last, won restricted Anita turf stakes before that, sharp steady works since raced, Flores takes over on McAnally returnee. Value Play -- Scooter Brown

8TH RACE:

Tejana Selena - Dueled lead and held 3rd in comeback effort in last, runner up in only other pair of starts last summer at Hollypark, Solis returns on Dominguez trainee, had tightener, time to graduate. Diablo's Vanity - Set pace and outkicked to 3rd in last, overmatched and outrun in only other start in December, swift drill since raced, Vergara returns, won't be 26-to-1 odds to grab diploma here.
