Trump look-alike heads to LV convention

A Trump look-alike.

The Downtown Development Authority is paying $1,000 a day for actor Bill Hair to wander around the floor of a retailers and developers convention later this month to lure business people to the city's booth.

"All we're trying to do is create a commotion," said Bill Fountain, the authority's executive director.

The real Donald, a casino magnate and part-time Palm Beacher, was quoted in the March issue of People magazine as saying West Palm Beach's downtown Clematis was "the hottest street in Florida."

The genuine Trump did not return calls for comment on the look-alike, but a spokesman said he's flattered.
