Fugitive accused of shooting officer arrested in Las Vegas

James Bohanna, 28, of East Saint Louis was arrested in downtown Las Vegas Thursday.
He was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service on a charge of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution and by the Illinois Department of Corrections on a parole violation charge.
The man was accused of violating his parole by shooting a Kansas City police officer in the foot Nov. 11.
Bohanna was on parole at the time for a 1993 armed robbery.
The television show "America's Most Wanted" profiled Bohanna on May 1 and May 8.
