Letter: Movie should not have been altered

As the legacy wastes of the Cold War are spread across the country for disposal, disaster indeed looms. Murphy's Law will eventually strike, as it did at Chernobyl and Three Mile Island. The pockets of illness and death that we atomic workers are witnessing in our own ranks will be handed to the public in boxcars and tractor-trailers.

This miniseries could have done much to educate, not terrorize, the public. Shame on NBC, congrats to the Associated Press and the Las Vegas Sun for making the story known. Loved the edited and unedited posters, too!
