Banning gun sales won't stop killings

Walking around a school shooting students is illegal. You can't make it more illegal by creating more gun laws. No one can think that a mad killer cares if his weapon is legal. So you are clearly using the tragedy to push forward your agenda.

Millions of legal gun owners with their many millions of guns did no harm that sad day in Colorado, but every one of them is under attack by the poor logic that guns are the problem. Banning the private-citizen sale or transfer of firearms is a clear and obvious precursor to a ban of private ownership.

Where is the example that banning an item eliminates the problem? Street drugs are illegal everywhere, and available anywhere. Ask your kids.

Shame on the Sun for using the deaths of children in Colorado to push forward its anti-gun position. You have insulted reader intelligence, and those victims.
