Rebels baseball team loses in first round

San Jose State held off UNLV and defeated the Rebels 8-7 in first-round game of the Western Athletic Conference baseball tournament Wednesday at Fresno, Calif. The Rebels (27-33) play highly ranked Rice in the double-elimination event this afternoon.
