Fire engulfs four homes under construction

A fire engulfed four under-construction Henderson homes and sent a large plume of smoke into the skies over the Las Vegas valley at noon Friday, Henderson Fire Department officials said.
The blaze at 114 Montalban Court threatened nearby established neighborhoods. The fire was north of Horizon Ridge Parkway, east of Gibson Road and west of U.S. 93.
