Letter: Duck Creek letter had homeowners group facts wrong

We bought our condo in June 1997. It is our experience that since the new board took office things got better pretty quickly. Things like landscaping, safer lighting, pools repaired and cleaned regularly and tennis courts repaired and brought back to useable condition. Awnings which were in horrible shape and in some cases missing altogether were repaired and installed after pressure was brought to bear on the builder.

Roof tiles that were missing were also replaced after at least three floods. The parking lots and streets were quickly cleaned up, which required tons of muck to be removed.

These are some of the problems that we noticed that were present when Meyers was on the board but was somehow unable to address. Maybe that is why he quit the board suddenly. It seems to me Meyers' efforts would be better served by trying to be a help rather than a hindrance.
