Rebels tennis team draws tough opponents

UNLV's two entries in the 1999 NCAA Men's Tennis Championships could not have a much bigger task ahead them after the computerized draw was announced Tuesday in Athens, Ga.

Asaf Tishler, ranked 33rd in the nation but first in the region, will be matched in singles play against the top seed of the 64-main field in today's first round. Tishler will play on center court vs. top-ranked freshman James Blake of Harvard.

UNLV's doubles team, sophomores Nenad Zivkovic and Gregor Skorin, will take on third-seeded Jean-Noel Grinda and Jong Min-Lee of UCLA in the 32-team field that begins competition Thursday.
