Fresh off its first state baseball championship, Durango High School moved into the USA Today Top 25 poll Tuesday, debuting at No. 22 in the country.
The Trailblazers capped a 35-4 season with Saturday's 2-0 win over Reno in the 1999 4A state title game. Despite those accomplishments, Durango dropped from No. 15 to No. 21 in Baseball America's national poll this week.
