Letter: Fourth grade series was informative

I have always enjoyed Mr. Grove's articles on education, but this series was especially insightful and valuable -- so much so that I have cut out and saved the articles to share with others.

The articles were so valuable because they presented not only the day-to-day story of the class, but also the viewpoints of students, teachers, counselors, administrators and parents on the situation in our schools. Those of us who went to school in an earlier time sometimes do not realize how much society has changed and the challenges schools now face.

Mr. Grove's series provides much-needed clarification of the issues, so that we can all be better informed when we attempt to address them. Thank you for this example of excellent investigative journalism.
