Family selling interest in hotel-casino

The Reno family has agreed to sell its stock in The Sands Regent to The Hertz Group of Los Angeles, which bought Reno's Comstock Hotel-Casino for $5 million earlier this month.

The family, which founded the Sands about 35 years ago, failed in two earlier attempts to sell the stock.

Family stock ownership is divided in trusts among Pete Cladianos Jr.; Katherene Latham, Cladianos' sister; and Deborah Lundgren, Latham's daughter.
