Harrah's faces fine of $20,000

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. -- The Missouri Gaming Commission agreed to fine Harrah's North Kansas City Casino & Hotel $20,000 for failing to properly inspect dice before putting them into craps play and other violations of the commission's security and personnel staffing rules.

Las Vegas-based Harrah's Entertainment has 30 days to decide whether to contest the penalty that was imposed last week.
