Seminars set on casino fraud, job litigation

The Casino Management Association will hold a seminar on counterfeit check protection Thursday morning.
Featured speakers include Patty Doran, vice president, Bank of America; Sgt. Robert Sebby, fraud division, Metro Police; and Pamela Shinkle, president and chief operating officer, Central Credit Inc.
The seminar will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 4 at the Las Vegas Conference Suites, 101 Convention Center Drive, Suite P100. Registration fees are $30 for members and $60 for non-members, with a $5 walk-up fee.
The association also announced it will hold a seminar called "Employment Litigation Land Mines," presented by Carol Zucker, a labor attorney with Kamer & Zucker. That seminar will be held Tuesday, Nov. 9, starting at 6 p.m. The seminar will also be at the Las Vegas Conference Suites.
