New house, new braces, all for a nickel

Kim Short of Carmichael hit the Nickels Deluxe MegaJackpot early Saturday morning at Boomtown Hotel Casino 10 miles west of Reno.
Short, who was attending a convention at Boomtown, said she plans to use her winnings to move into a new house and to buy braces for her teeth.
