SWAT team needed to complete police search

Sparks police were investigating the alleged thefts of auto parts from a General Motors distribution center in Sparks where the man worked for 28 years and went to his house looking for the missing items.

When the man refused to answer the door, police and Washoe County sheriff's deputies called in a SWAT team because of past problems at the home.

The team went in and found Larry Fraser, 48, hiding under insulation in the attic after an hour-long search. Some of the missing merchandise was recovered and the man was arrested for possession of stolen property.
