Silver Bandits defeated

The Las Vegas Silver Bandits of the International Basketball League lost 127-124 to the New Mexico Slam Sunday in Albuquerque in an exhibition game. Former UCLA standout J.R. Henderson scored a team-high 21 points for the Silver Bandits, who had seven players score in double figures.
The Silver Bandits will host the Slam on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in an exhibition game at the Doolittle Community Center, 1940 N. J St. Admission is free.
