Investigation begun in automobile deaths

The California Highway Patrol said Roberto Gallegos, 26, and his wife, Araceli, 22, were killed in the accident Friday on Interstate 80.
The CHP said their westbound car skidded through the median and across oncoming travel lanes before crashing into the tree.
An investigation is under way into whether a crime led to the accident that also seriously injured a child.
