Suits filed over three LV developments

The flood of construction defect lawsuits in Clark County continued in recent weeks.

Admiral Point's Homeowners Association is suing over alleged defects in a 132-unit condominium complex off Durango Road and Sahara Ave.

Defendants in the Clark County District Court suit are Vegas General Construction Co., Americana Development Group II Ltd. Partnership, Consolidated Americana Corp. doing business as Prudential Americana Group Realtors and Windcrest Development.

Vegas General Construction and Prudential Americana officials could not be reached for comment.

Separately, Canyon Willow Homeowners Association sued Torino Construction Inc., Torino Holdings Inc., Torino Construction Corp. of Nevada Inc., Torino Investment Inc., Canyon Willow Inc., Canyon Willow II LLC, alleging defects in its condominium complex at 5205 Caspian Springs Drive in Las Vegas.

Torino's legal counsel could not be reached for comment.

And Los Hadas Homeowners Association sued Capital Pacific Homes Inc., alleging its 96-unit townhouse complex at 6802 West Alexander Road had defects.

A Capital Pacific Homes official declined comment.
