Tribal interest to be distributed

The tribe approved a proposal last week to distribute the interest earned on the $40 million.
The fund was established in 1990 under the Truckee River Negotiated Settlement. The distribution of the interest must still be approved by the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs.
