Missing man may have been killed

Metro Police say a missing Minnesota man who came to Las Vegas in May with a large sum of money is likely a victim of foul play.

Kinsey Otto, 24, of Minneapolis, arrived in Las Vegas on May 13 on a Sun Country Airlines flight from Minneapolis, said police Sgt. Kevin Manning.

He has not been seen since.

"He had a substantial sum of money on him when he left Minneapolis," Manning said. "It was in the thousands."

Minnesota authorities have received a tip that Otto's disappearance involves foul play, Manning said. Minneapolis Police Department detectives have asked Las Vegas homicide investigators to assist in the case, he said.

The last place Otto was seen alive was at McCarran International Airport.

Police are trying to determine why Otto came to Las Vegas. He was scheduled to return to Minnesota on May 19, but his airline ticket was not used.
