State tourism head taking corporate job

Tait, who announced his departure on Friday, joined the Nevada Commission on Tourism as international and domestic marketing director and has been executive director for the past nine years.
Nevada's tourism industry has grown from a $28 million business in 1989 to a $47.5 million venture this year.
Lake Las Vegas is a $5 billion, 2,245-acre resort, golf and residential complex built around a 320-acre lake 17 miles from Las Vegas.
